About Inn at Craig Place

The Inn was built in 1891 and became a Bed and Breakfast in 1999.  Although we have made some changes and improvements over the years, the original concept of a bed and breakfast that focuses on romance, pampering, and five star gourmet breakfasts (including fresh baked dessert) still remains. Our guests often return for a night or two to indulge in our breakfasts and linger in the library, just as one returns periodically to a favorite restaurant.

The dining room boasts a four-wall mural attributed to Julian Onderdonk, noted Texas landscape artist. This space hosts weddings for up to 25 guests, which are held from 2:00 to 4:00 pm, so our Inn guests can be assured of a quiet haven when they return from sightseeing around San Antonio.

An eclectically well-stocked library offers an array of books, magazines, wireless laptop and DVD's as well as balcony access.

The parlor encourages you to linger over a cool drink on your return home or to visit with other guests.

Wide, curved porches invite you to relax and listen to the birds sing or watch the tree ducks go in and out of their nests. Or relax on the curved bench in the formal "secret" garden area.
